Welcome to the March 2025 edition of our Ecosystem Roundup, highlighting the latest progress within the SingularityNET Ecosystem. As a Founding Member of the Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) Alliance, we remain committed to creating decentralized beneficial artificial general intelligence (AGI).

This month’s update features key developments across our technical infrastructure and community initiatives that strengthen our position in the decentralized AI space and expand FET token utility.

SingularityNET News and Updates

Decentralized AI Platform Development

Our Decentralized AI Platform development team has completed several key improvements across infrastructure components to enhance developer experience and platform reliability.

The team resolved file-loading issues in the Python SDK, ensuring more reliable functionality. The JavaScript SDK has received targeted enhancements with the Node version now including basic methods for Training v2 and a training call example with updated documentation (the UploadAndValidate method remains under development). Further JavaScript SDK improvements include improved error handling when sending transactions in the Web implementation, and a new upload_and_validate method in the Core component.

The Developer Portal has been enhanced with new educational resources, including links to YouTube video guides that provide visual instruction for Platform features. The team has also published two new comprehensive guides: “UI Sandbox’s Interface Overview” and “Creating a UI for the Service,” expanding the available documentation to support developers.

The Publisher Portal now includes multiple validation upgrades that prevent potential marketplace issues, such as validation for Daemon endpoints to verify TLS certificate availability validation and proto zip files validation to ensure they only contain .proto files. Additional improvements include a new menu on the user account page and a fix for endless loading when encountering errors during demo file downloads.

The AI Marketplace features frontend improvements to the Installation and Launch service tab, fixed integration file download functionality, and resolved free call token system issues. Backend improvements addressed issues with the “download integration files” button, updated the PayPal payment flow, and refactored the wallets service.

Significant improvements have been implemented in Daemon to enhance performance and capabilities. The system now supports gzip compression for archives containing proto files and has been expanded to handle multiple proto files for HTTP services. The development team has refined the training functionality to provide a more streamlined experience, removed legacy dependencies, fixed errors related to non-proto files in archives, and resolved HTTP request handling issues. Additional improvements include compatibility testing and blockchain package optimizations to enhance overall efficiency.

These technical enhancements across the SingularityNET SDK, developer resources, and infrastructure reflect ongoing efforts to improve Platform reliability and usability. The Platform continues to evolve in response to developer needs and technical requirements, bringing us closer to our shared vision: a full-scale modernized decentralized AI Platform.

Partnership with Star Atlas to Revolutionize Web3 Gaming with AI Agents

We announced a partnership with ATMTA, Inc., developers of Star Atlas, the blockchain-based space exploration MMO built on Solana. This collaboration explores the possibility of integrating advanced AGI into one of the leading Web3 gaming ecosystems. The partnership is poised to advance the gaming industry by setting the stage for immersive experiences powered by the Solana blockchain.

The partnership focuses on implementing our AIRIS (Autonomous Intelligent Reinforcement Inferred Symbolism) experiential learning system to enhance the Star Atlas gaming environment. Key applications include the development of advanced AI agents to potentially enhance yield opportunities for players, virtual companions to support player progression, and AI-powered Non-Player Characters (NPCs) that learn and adapt through player interactions. These implementations could add dynamic interactivity to the game universe while increasing player engagement.

Specific collaborative initiatives include developing AI-driven NPCs that can evolve their behaviors over time for a more realistic gaming experience, creating an advanced AI assistant that leverages the ASI Innovation Stack, and exploring AI Agents designed to optimize in-game economies. With Star Atlas generating over $2 million monthly in virtual GDP, these agents could play a central role in facilitating economic transactions and supporting long-term scalability.

This partnership represents a significant step toward combining advanced AI with blockchain technology to create digital environments that evolve through user interaction. As noted by Dr. Ben Goertzel, this collaboration demonstrates how decentralized networks and token economies on platforms like Solana and within the ASI Alliance ecosystem could accelerate the path toward superintelligence while empowering global developer and player communities.

Advancing MeTTa Adoption at HackIndia 2025

As Title Sponsor for HackIndia 2025, we continue to expand our presence across India’s academic institutions and developer communities. This nationwide initiative, India’s largest Web3 and AI hackathon series, connects with 25,000 hackers from 150 universities across 20 cities in India, culminating in a grand finale in Delhi this September. With a prize pool of $150,000, HackIndia represents an opportunity to engage and empower the next generation of developers, innovators, and thought leaders.

As part of our commitment to democratizing AI technology, we will showcase our decentralized AI platform and tools—including our novel MeTTa programming language—throughout the hackathon series. Participants benefit from resources, expert mentorship, and a collaborative environment, enabling them to develop impactful decentralized applications that shape the future of AI and Web3. In this initiative, iCog Labs offers expert technical mentorship and guidance, while Beyond the Code highlights our commitment to developing beneficial AGI that is decentralized, democratized, and accessible to all.

The MeTTa programming language was successfully implemented at Spark 3 of the series, hosted by Goa Engineering College from March 10 to 11. Among the 80+ competing teams, MeTTa-powered innovation stood out on the podium. Team Hackstreet from Padre Conceicao College of Engineering, consisting of computer engineering students Anup Bhat, Aaron Rebello, Hamdan Shaik, and Callan Gonsalves, secured first place with their finance chatbot built using MeTTa. Their solution demonstrates advanced capabilities in loan document analysis and answering questions about loans, interest rates, and bank queries.

The first three hackathons attracted over 570 teams comprising more than 2,000 participants and generated over 170 projects published on GitHub. Three teams working specifically on our problem statements have advanced to the national finals. The iCog Labs team has represented us as judges, mentors, and speakers, with team member Yabu addressing audiences of over 1,200 participants across the last two hackathon events.

The hackathon series continues with confirmed upcoming events at Rungta in Chattisgarh scheduled for April 1-2, CBIT Hyderabad on April 10-11, Chitkara University Himachal Pradesh on April 17-18, and Chitkara University Punjab on May 1-2. These events will further extend our outreach to developer communities and provide additional opportunities to showcase our technical stack across diverse academic institutions in India.

Deep Funding AI for Peace Dualathon

Deep Funding has launched an AI for Peace Dualathon addressing global challenges across multiple dimensions: global, societal, personal, and ecological. The initiative consists of an RFP Ideation Challenge running from March 18th to April 15th, followed by an Online Hackathon from April 21st to 28th, 2025. Hackathon registration opens on March 31st and continues until April 21st.

The RFP Ideation Challenge invites visionaries, developers, and AI enthusiasts worldwide to propose ideas for AI-driven innovations. To participate, individuals must register on the Deep Funding Portal, navigate to the RFP Ideation section, and submit their idea under the “AI for Peace Challenge.” The challenge is open globally, and ideas should be suitable to become AI services that could be developed during the Hackathon and onboarded to the SingularityNET marketplace.

Winners of the Ideation challenge will receive $500 in tokens, with an additional $1,000 for ideas selected to become RFPs. A panel of experts will review all submissions based on real-world impact, feasibility, and alignment with the challenge. Ideas that weren’t selected as winners can still become RFPs. Winning ideas from the RFP Ideation challenge will likely become tracks for the Hackathon.

Individuals or teams can register for the Hackathon through a dedicated form. All participants join a MatterMost channel for announcements and updates. The Deep Funding team encourages submissions that tackle large-scale conflicts, promote social harmony, or foster inner peace.
